Since 2007, Guitars for Vets has built a guitar instruction program aimed at providing the 800,000 Veterans struggling with physical injuries, PTSD, and other emotional distress a unique therapeutic alternative. In nearly 20 years, we have helped over 12,000 Veterans on their journey to healing.
“It’s one of the best programs I think I’ve ever done. It is so heartwarming and comforting. You feel like, ‘Hey, that really helps.”
“I was at a point in my life where I was at true rock bottom. I’d lost everything…and joining the program gave me a purpose.”
“I started going to my 10 week lessons, and within 3 or 4 weeks, things had changed…I finally could find a moment in time of peace.”
When you buy second hand from G4V, you’re giving Vets the healing power of music.
In addition to donating guitars, another impactful way to support Guitars 4 Vets is through monetary giving. Financial contributions help us serve more Veterans and provide the instruction, instruments, and resources included in the program. All proceeds go towards helping spread the healing power of music.
