Announcing the inaugural Frets and Fenders Festival at the Jack Frost Auto Museum on Saturday September 13th. This is an awesome outdoor setting where everyone can hear some great music and view classic cars too. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. We’ll have performances from Chism & Washer and the Guitars for Vets – Detroit jam band. It will be a great afternoon. Admission is FREE! If you have a special ride, please bring it to show along with cars from the museum and other collectors too. You don’t want to miss this event.
Since 2007, our organization has refined a guitar instruction program aimed at providing Veterans struggling with physical injuries, PTSD, and other emotional distress a unique therapeutic alternative. G4V pursues its mission to share the healing power of music by providing free guitar instruction, a new acoustic guitar and a guitar accessory kit in a structured program run by volunteers, primarily through the Department of Veterans Affairs facilities and community-based medical centers.
