Today’s guest with host Mike Dow is Father Richard Erikson, who came to us via Guitars For Vets. Father Erikson served as an Air Force Chaplain, both stateside and abroad. He’s also a musician and participated in both the Guitars For Vets and Songwriting With Soldiers programs. Since 2007, our organization has refined a guitar instruction program aimed at providing Veterans struggling with physical injuries, PTSD, and other emotional distress a unique therapeutic alternative. G4V pursues its mission to share the healing power of music by providing free instruction, a new instrument and an accessory kit in a structured program run by volunteers, in concert with our community partners.
