How You Can Help

Currently there are requests from over 50 VA Medical Centers throughout the nation and we are only able to expand with the generous help of many people. There are many ways that you can get involved and help this cause that benefits our nation's Vets.

Volunteer

The Guitars for Vets movement is powered by dedicated, passionate people. To find out about volunteer opportunities at current Chapters, please contact us at info@guitarsforvets.org.

New Chapter Requests

Due to a very high demand and limited resources, Guitars for Vets will not be authorizing the formation of new Chapters until further notice.

Your request to join with G4V and further the mission is very important to our Veterans. Please email your contact information, including your proposed Chapter location, to newchapter@guitarsforvets.org. It is our intention to grow as funding allows and you will be notified as soon as we are able to proceed.

G4V is operated and funded independently of VAMCs and Community Based Vet Centers. Contacting these facilities directly before being approved by GUITARS FOR VETS will not expedite the process of becoming an official G4V Chapter. Unapproved representation of G4V is fraudulent and illegal.

Donate Money

It costs $200 to deliver the Guitars for Vets program to one veteran. Your gift will make a difference! Guitars for Vets is a federally registered 501(c)(3) entitiy, and monetary contributions are tax deductible. Please see the Donation Page to make a secure donation through Pay Pal. Checks may be sent to the Guitars for Vets headquarters as well.

Donate Guitars

Guitars for Vets accepts guitars, playable or not. Donated guitars are either used as practice guitars or sold in order to raise funds for the program. Unrepairable guitars are turned into visual art through the G4V's Art Strings program and sold at events. Guitar donations are tax deductible. Please see the Donation Page for details on how to donate guitars.

Shop

Authentic Guitars for Vets apparel may be purchased at our on-line store. You may also purchase items benefiting G4V at many of the events hosted by chapters. Check the Events page for details.
